We are committed to advancing sustainability within the BGSA community to make our research and professional development better for the planet. This includes implementing and promoting green initiatives in labs and offices, informing BGSA members of ways to reduce their individual carbon footprints, and helping to make BGSA events more sustainable! In addition, we collaborate with other sustainability groups at the University of Pittsburgh such as Pitt Sustainability and the Office of Sustainability in the Health Sciences (OSHS) to maximize our impact across the entire campus.
